Who I Work With

I work with a variety of individuals—professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, small business owners—men and women in all stages of life, work, career and retirement.

What they all have in common is that they are accomplished, intelligent persons who are dissatisfied with their current situation.
  • They are in or on the verge of a significant change.
  • They are searching for something that will bring them the kind of meaning, engagement and motivation they don't want to live without.
Problem Scenarios

Are any of these statements true for you?

You're feeling a growing discontent with your life or work. What you've been doing no longer means what it used to. You don't feel satisfied no matter what you accomplish or how many titles and possessions you acquire.

You're stuck in your career and feel unqualified to move into the career you really want. You doubt your ability to land the kind of job that would make a real difference in your life.

You're at a career crossroads. You have identified several different career possibilities and feel overwhelmed with the variety of options. You can't make up your mind about which one would be best for you.

You're in the career you thought was "the one." But it has turned out to be nothing like you thought it would be, and the stress is too much to handle.

You're in a rut. You want to take your life or career in a new direction or to a new level but even when you make changes you're still not happy.

You're recently divorced or widowed. You need to create a new life for yourself. Perhaps you're considering re-entering the work force, expanding your social circle, or rediscovering an old passion.

You looked forward to retirement. It's here, and now you feel lost. You miss the sense of personal identity, the structure, the intellectual stimulation, accomplishment and purpose you used to feel. You don't know how to replace the social interactions and connections you had when you were working.

You finally retired, and now you're bored to tears. You've rested, you've caught up on all your reading and projects around the house, you're playing three sets of tennis a day with friends, but still have too much time on your hands and you're constantly clashing with your significant other.

If you're struggling with issues like these, I can help.

I have high standards, and don't work with everyone. I can only be successful with clients who are willing to be responsible for working toward their own success.

You're likely to be successful working with me if . . .

  • You're a self-starter. You're solution and action-oriented and you do your best to achieve what you want.
  • You're committed to succeeding and to taking the right action to get there.
  • You don't expect anyone to provide you with ready-made solutions.
  • You're a genuine person—without pretense—and you take responsibility for your choices and actions.
  • You adhere to high standards of honesty and integrity and value those traits in others.
  • You don't look for quick fixes or shortcuts when it comes to your own success in life.
  • You love to learn and have an active, curious mind. You're willing to consider new ideas and try new approaches.
  • You're creative and willing to take calculated risks.
  • You value having a thinking partner to bounce ideas off of—someone who really listens, who will support you, challenge you, keep you accountable, and cheer you on.
